On the afternoon of April 17, the “Touching Jinan · Green Future in Motion” International Youth Fitness Walk was successfully held at the Jisteel Central Forest Park. Eighteen international students from countries including Morocco, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Yemen participated in the event.
At the venue, international youth strolled through the Jisteel Central Forest Park, experiencing firsthand the “Jinan miracle” of an industrial site transformed into a lush ecological oasis. Surrounded by forest air, they enjoyed the benefits of exercise while forging new friendships. At a shaded trail corner, a spontaneous saxophone performance of Jasmine Flower drew a crowd. The international students warmly interacted with local residents, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere.
As one of the events under the “Touching Jinan” series organized by the Jinan Foreign Affairs Office, the “Touching Jinan · Green Future in Motion” walk embraced the core concept of “green, low-carbon living and vibrant health.” The event aimed to build a platform for mutual learning and exchange between Chinese and international participants, allowing young people from around the world to experience the ecological beauty of Jinan through movement and to appreciate the city’s rich cultural heritage through interaction—further showcasing Jinan to the world, sharing its voice, and telling its story well.
