2025-03-24

On the afternoon of March 16, the Shunjing International Community in Daming Lake Subdistrict resonated with melodious music as the International Music Club event, co-organized by the community and the Go Up Club, came to a successful conclusion. For years, the Shunjing Community has provided high-quality Chinese learning platforms for foreign talents, promoting multicultural exchange and integration. This event was not only a musical feast but also a vivid practice of the "Chinese Bridge" cultural concept of the Shunjing International Community. It attracted more than 20 young music enthusiasts from seven countries, including Argentina, Algeria, Mongolia, and Russia.

The event began with an ice-breaking activity called the "Voice Identity Card," which quickly brought participants closer. Young people from different countries introduced themselves through sounds and rhythms, breaking language barriers and highlighting the universality of music. The following "Guess the Tune" group competition pushed the event to a mini-climax, where participants eagerly answered questions, showcased their musical talent through singing, and enhanced their Chinese listening and speaking skills.

The "All-People Producers" group music creation session was filled with creativity and surprises. Participants used the instruments, vocals, and body movements earned from the previous session to compose or adapt a 30-second piece of music. This activity not only demonstrated their unique musical styles and creative thinking but also deepened mutual understanding and friendship throughout the creative process. It perfectly embodied the cultural integration and innovation emphasized by the "Chinese Bridge" concept.

The highlight of the event was the choral teaching and rehearsal of the song Fulfilled Wishes. Under the careful guidance of teacher Yullian, participants learned the melody and harmony parts of the song and experimented with duets. With the addition of body percussion, rhythm instruments, and guitar accompaniment, the final performance became more complete and moving. Through this choral experience, participants not only improved their musical skills but also gained a deeper understanding of the emotional essence of Chinese culture and the profound concept of "harmony in diversity."

The success of this event provided young music enthusiasts with a platform to showcase their talents and exchange cultures while further demonstrating the charm of the "Chinese Bridge" cultural concept of the Shunjing International Community. Through music — a universal language — community residents were able to bridge cultural gaps, foster mutual understanding and friendship, and create a harmonious, inclusive, and open international community environment.

Looking ahead, the Shunjing International Community will continue to uphold the "Chinese Bridge" cultural concept by establishing an immersive English Corner at Black Tiger Spring. This bilingual initiative aims to further upgrade the internationalization of the community, offering residents more diverse cultural exchange opportunities and promoting cultural integration between China and the world.
